A Question on Weight Loss?

A weight loss question that should definitely interest you all this week

Question: Ok I’m 5′10 230 pounds this time last year I was 200 pounds , I’ve never had a real big problem with weight gain and Ive always been able to hide my weight pretty good and what I mean by that is when I weighed 200 I looked like I weighed 180, but still 230 pounds is overweight . I have very big shoulders and I don’t think I would look right below 200. Any suggestions on how to lose thirty pounds ?
Answer: When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It’s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Do Prescription Weight Loss Pills from a Doctor Help or Work Well?

do u recommend going to a general practice doctor to ask him for weight loss pills?
Answer: You know, I personally don’t think those work at all, but it’s easy, I’ve lost weight just eating less :)

Should I Get Weight Loss Surgery if My Insurance Will Cover It?

This week’s question is as follows:

Question: I’m 24, 5′4" and I weigh 220 lbs roughly. I’ve always been around 160ish but when I got pregnant I let my weight get out of control and now I’m 220. I’m pretty sure I’m a candidate for surgery but I think it’s kinda taking the easy way out. What should I do? I’ve done a cycle of the hcg diet and I lost about 15 lbs so should I just keep doing that?
Answer: Hey! We weight the same at the same height and age! LOL. I feel you on wanting to lose the weight. I have been eating better and exercising. Have you tried exercising, dieting and eating healthy? I have done that and lost a little bit of weight, but I do not exercise everyday like I should. I think that surgery should be a last resort if you are not able to lose the weight on your own. I heard from someone who was getting the surgery that they make you wait a year anyways to see if you can do it on your own before you get a lap band or gastric. They monitor your blood pressure, weight, what you eat and they do this because they want people who are serious about losing weight.

Has Anyone Tried Drinking the Apple Cidar Vinegar Water Mix for PMS or Weight Loss?

Well here’s a question I just had to answering straight away:

Question: Did you have any results? Please be specific. I have PMS and need to lose weight.
Answer: I drank it for weight loss yrs ago n it worked. I did not drink it for PMS,… I think I’ll try it this month though…thanks! n I did mix it w/ water once! It made my one disgusting swallowful turn into a whole glass… YUK! ACV will naturally speed up ur metabolism temporarily…. w/out u even having to do a thing which in return helps u loose weight. I also heard that it helps to clean out ur intestinal tract n that helps ur health… I haven’t researched that yet but I am sure if googled u will find the answer rather quickly… Good Luck! P.S. U shouldn’t drink more then 2 tablespoons a day as the answer below me is right…. to much of anything is bad….

Weight Loss Help Please?

This week’s question is as follows:

Question: ok i’m 15, male, 5′6 (if anyone cares about that stuff lol) and a little backround on me - i starved myself for four months and lost alot of weight but then started gaining it back so i started eating healthy and counting calories and exercising about a month and a half ago - ok so thats my backround. now i’m wondering why i’m not losing weight, here is my exercise plan -
3 30 minute walks a day
1 30 minute run
100 crunches, 40 (each side) side crunches, 40 leg lifts, 20 side bends, 50 push ups (and i do them before each walk)
and here is my diet - basically i eat anywhere between 1600-1900 calories a day (90 percent of the time is healthy lol)
now with doing all of that, WHY DOES IT STILL SEEM LIKE I’M GAINING FAT?!?!?! it doesnt seem to be much. its just a very small amount but it has seemed to get a little bit bigger. is it because my body isn’t over the starvation? am i doing something wrong? please help.
Answer: Could be a # of reasons, like perhaps you’re intaking a lot of simple carbs?

I’ve been at it now for 53 days. Working to lose 100 pounds, and I highly recommend some of the following advise.

1) drink plenty of water, and cut out any diet pops or beverages with aspartame. Also no juices or any other liquids. Add lime for flavor and detox benefits.
2) eat only healthy foods, nothing processed. Fresh fruits, veggies, and lean meats.
3) Avoid high carb foods like sugar, bread, potatoes, rice, pasta, candy and chips
4) eat five or six smaller meals and snacks a day
5) exercise with cardio at least 30-40 minutes several days a week, but take some days for rest.

To date, I’ve lost 36 pounds.

I Need Help with Weight Loss Issues.?

Question: I’m 20 years old, 5ft 6in, weigh 233 pounds, female, and I have a knee injury currently that doesn’t really allow me to work out that much. I have been told by my doctor that I need to lose weight. I have a couple issues with this factor, I don’t have that much money so I can’t afford to go to a gym and have a nutrition expert or anything. I live with my parents and every time I turn around my father is buying junk food, in the last week for example he’s bought fudge brownies, 2 chocolate cake mixes, chocolate cream pie and I don’t know how many times we’ve ate fast food. It’s been like this all my life I’ve never had the right nutrition teaching really and I just need some advice.

Did Drew Carey Loss Some Weight?

Question: So I don’t watch Price is Right to often, I seen him when he first started, he looked more fuller then, I tuned in today and he looks thinner but also looks a little worse off in the face. Did he lose the weight from trying or is he sick?
Answer: he has. he has lost 70-80 pounds. He looks good. but I always thought that he did look good.

(I know that his face does look kinda sunken in.)

Recently, I have decided to lose my weight.So I ask question then I have learnt a lot from google and yahoo answers.Now I used to see the questions under this category.Most of the questions asked by teenagers 17,18 and they want to lose their weight 50 Ibs in two months or three months and they knew it is not healthy.I pity for them.Everyone wants to lose weight suddenly,but is not a magic.Our mind and body have to cooperate.Previously, I lose my weight 4kg in 6 months.That time I had a motivation from a TV programme that a girl lose 10 kg in one year time.She said first few months she didn’t see any weight loss.Later on she had a lot of weight loss in following months.So I had impressed by her and I read a lot of books then I follow the instructions.Then I had succeeded.I hope following tips are very helpful.

3) a) Drink more water in the empty stomach.
b) Drink 1 tablespoon honey with same amount of water in the empty stomach. You can add in lemon juice also.

5) Create a table of food names and calories that you take often.
4) Consume food calories between 1200 and 1500 —- it makes you to avoid fastt food and sugary food

7) Consume more fiber food (oats, whole meal food, mushroom,vegtables,fruits) that you can search in the web.———–Fiber foods digest slowly and you don’t feel hungry.
8) For Breakfast, oats meal is a very good meal to start a day.—— It has no fat but it produce more energy.Morning we need more energy to do work. A cup of milk. A fruit.
9) You cut your food carb upto 50 %. Don’t skip any meal or whole —– its affected your health
10) Avoid drink tea or coffee.It has cafin that affect the digestion of our food.Green tea is very good.
11) Change your lifestyle for life.
12) Do it happily.

What is the Best Program for Weight Loss?

Question: I’m trying to find a weight loss program to suit me. I did weight watchers for a long time and I’m just finding it difficult to continue that program. I do want a program though because I feel like I need the structure of it. Any ideas about programs that work for the long run?

-Exercise

-Diet
start by lessoning your intake on soda, sweets and fast food
dont forget to drink lots of water!!

-Motivation
pick up a magazine or print out a picture of clothes you want to wear and paste them on your wall, or somewhere you’ll see it and tell yourself, "i’m gonna so look good in that!"
also, write sticky notes to yourself, like: Drop that food! Dont eat because your restless, or Go to Bed!! more sleep= lose weight!

-Goals
write out your short and long term goals

and most importantly believe in yourself! because you CAN do it!
