what should i do to get a body like that
I do go to the gym LA fitness

what kinda of workout should i do

should i do straight fat loss first? ( cardio)
or should i do a mix of both?
And for lunch is Subway okay to eat… ( ham or cold cuts, with green pepper, tomato, japeneos, green olives, Mustard( or honey mustart), hot sauce and salt n pepper) 6 inch… or 12 inch
PLEASE HELP and thank you

Answer: Dear LOL,

Hey you can do it, you just have to focus on your diet, there are tons of sites with good info (http://thefatburningguide.com bodybuilding.com) but to start off a good diet and a little bit of cardio you can easily lose 2 pounds a week. Trust me I was recently cutting down for a competition and have a very defined 8 pack right now (the picture is a few months old)
So first you should set up a good diet plan, which isnt that hard after the first week or two. I personally use Fitday . com to track my foods eaten when I am cutting. Also fat cannot be spot reduced (reducing fat on certain spots in the body) it is one of the top fatloss myths. You can usually lose fat easily from the arms and legs, then the butt, and then the lower abs and back are the most stubborn and last places to burn fat. You should try looking into HIIT and riding a bike for 2 hours is a great way to burn calories. You can look into doing a HIIT program with your bike. I personally do it with a jump rope. Also gaining muscle is much much harder than you think, it would take you months and months of hard work (great protein diet, and weightlifting protein) to gain any muscle size on your arms. There is just so much I can tell you but I am not sure exactly what else you want to know about. Remember diet is the most important part to fat loss, cardio just helps speed things along.
You can check out my site in the sources (has alot of good HIIT info and I am always adding more articles) and post any other questions you have I check it multiple times a day.
Here are some other tips I posted on a similar question.

1) Most important thing to lose fat is diet (80% of fat loss comes from it)
2) Diet :P
3) The first thing you should do is find your calories burned for the day (google calorie calculator…use the mayo clinic one..i find it the most accurate) then subtract 500 calories from that and thats what you should eat every day
I know it may seem hard to do but after a week you will get totally used to it. I use Fitday . com to track my calories and it makes a ton of a difference and gives me consistent results week after week for over a year.
4) Try doing HIIT cardio..it will allow you to burn fat fast (9-12 minutes of HIIT would burn the same as 20-40 minutes of normal cardio)
(OO ya and ab exercises will barely burn any fat at all)
5) Just check out my site in the source and post up any other questions you have..I check it multiple times a day and will get back to you.
6) the site is http://www.thefatburningguide.com

AND GOOD LUCK :D

Excel Formula Question to Help Weight Loss Spreadsheet?

Keep the weight loss questions coming! I liked this one:

Question: I am pretty new to excel. I am creating a spreadsheet to track my weight loss and I need to have a field display my current lean mass + 10% (to indicate what weight I would need to be based on my current muscle mass to be at 10% body fat)
so for example if my current lean weight is 191.2 in J18 I want O18 to display that number plus 10% of itself automatically so 210.32 would be displayed automatically in O18. Hope someone can help! :) Thanks in advance
Answer: O18=J18*1.1

Obese Person In Need of Weight Loss Advice (PLEASE)?

What a great weight loss question:

Question: I’m having a tough time losing weight and keeping my word. what’s the best way to lose weight? I am obese, 25 years old and I need to lose weight. I’ve struggled with weight loss for the longest time! I can eat healthy but not stick with It and I don’t remember when the last time was that I’ve exercised. I am planning to go to an event In April of next year and I need as much weight loss advice as I can get. I want to look somewhat different by then. I just hate the way I look, I weigh 302 pounds, I did weigh 307 but loss a few pounds, how can I keep up with my weight loss and stop giving Into junk food? quotes, advice, anything will help me as long as It’s related to weight loss, thanks for your time!
Answer: oh hey there!

i have the same problem as u. i REALLY need to lose weight on my thighs and maybe my stomach, otherwise the otehr parts of my body are great.
i heard that cardio is great to lose weight off thighs and stomach.
in case u dont kno wat cardio is, cardio is anything that gets ur heart pumping. so it could be running swimming nd even walking!
and u can eat an apple a day and drink 4 kg of water a day and it makes u so healthy.
to check if u r the right weight go here: http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/
and dont listen to those people who tell u that when u lose weight u lose weight on all ur body, cos u dont. cardio is excercise especially for the thighs and stomach.
and u can lose weight in just one week! i tried what i told u and the next week my friend said:
‘hey, u lost some weight on ur face and legs!’
so yh.
and whatever u do DONT diet as if u do the next time u eat properly u r body will make u feel mega hungry and u will get lots of weight added on. maybe lower ur snacks and carbohydrates but dont skip meals .:)
oh and eat slowly cos if u eat ast ur food wont have gone to ur stomach yet and ui wont know if ur stuffed and u will keep on eating and gaining weight.

hope i helped :)

if i think of anything else i will tell u .
ps. and if u have an iphone or ipod u can download the six pack app its free and it tells u many excersizes which u can do to lose lots of weight fast!

How Do You Think I Ate Today-good or Bad for Weight Loss?

This week’s question is as follows:

Question: Brkfast–1 hardboiled egg on rye toast and 1 guava. green tea.
Lunch- small carton of a deli dish-up –coleslaw (1 cup) beans (1 cup) two pieces of potato from potato salad. A small dish-up of fruit salad. 2 shortbread cookies from my mother. 1 diet coke-(I dont normally drink diet coke.)
Snack at 5 pm–apple and a cup of tea.
Dinner–half a chicken breast. 4 cubes of butternut squash. 1 carrot. 7 beans.
Snack–sugar free jelly.

I go to gym EVERY day and do yoga EVERY day. So I am burning off at least some of the food.

I feel guily about the shortbread-but did I eat okay?

Answer: Don’t listen to the comment about "its calories not what you eat" thats bull**** - calories should only be reduced by about 300-400 - beyond that, working on good quality food, like you have done above (good breakfast… the first time I’ve seen someone mention a breakfast that isn’t crappy)

The shortbread isn’t great but just dont have it every day, the spike is ok now and again.

Dinner is great too - Lunch perhaps add a little cheese, as it’s pretty much all carbs, you want to try have a reasonable balance of fats, carbs and protein.

Try include a dark green veg every day, cabbage or broccoli is great, you wouldn’t believe how many RDAs just one serving of dark green veg and a couple of eggs hits

Broccoli:
Thiamin, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Vitamin K, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Potassium and Manganese.

Fasting- Will My Period Slow Weight Loss?

A tough weight loss question this week. Let’s dive straight in

Question: hello :) for anyone who has dieted or fasted, i would like to know if having your period will affect weight loss. no one lecture me about fasts. ive done them before, and i am very aware of the dangers of fasting too often. anyways, i got my period today and my one week fast starts tomorrow. i usually lose 10 pounds on 1 week fasts. does anyone know if having my period will make me lose less weight? or will i just gain water weight, and still lose the same amount of weight by the end of my fast?
okay! thanks so much :)
Answer: It shouldn’t make any difference to the amount of weight you lose.
Period weight is usually water weight so fasting should help with that as well.

Weight Loss Plan for a Teenager?

What’s this week’s weight loss question? Let’s dive straight in…

Question: I am 15 and i am only 4′11". I would like to lose like 20 pounds. I weigh around 117 right now. I need a good weigh loss plan. Like what type of foods to eat and what and how much exercising to do.. I am home-schooled so i can take breaks throughout the day and stuff. But i am a musician so i spend alot of time practicing my piano. I would also like to lose most of my weight off my stomach and thighs. So can anyone help me PLEASE! thank you so much for your time!
Answer: 20 pounds- is a bit much. 15 pounds is more realistic and healthier for your height, body type, gender and age. But sure I’ll give you tips to loosing 15 pounds.
- stick to only drinking water through out the day (no soda or fruit drinks)
stick to snacking on fruits or small portions of protein through out the day (ex: apples, grapes, peaches, nuts, cheese sticks)
- stick to eating only serving size at each meal (ex: have a bowl of cereal- but only have a cup of it- no more than just stop). make sure you get protein and whole grain at every single meal.
ex: breakfast: u may measure a cup of cheerios w/ skim milk and hard boiled egg
and then at lunch you may have whole grain bread w/ lean turkey deli and then at dinner you may have some sweet potatoes and grilled chicken-that would all be healthy.
- also try to stay away from red meat- sticking to chicken, fish, turkey, cheese, soy, peanut butter, nuts, hummus, and beans for your protein
- eat around 1300 calories would be ideal and exercising about 30 minutes 5x a week would also be ideal.
just become more mindful of what your eating. a sample 3 day plan would look around something like this
Breakfast:
cup of multi grain cheerios w/ cup of skim milk, banana and 2 tbsp peanut butter

Lunch:
whole wheat pita, tuna, low fat mayo, lettuce and tomato and baby carrot sticks w/ hummus dip

Dinner:
cup of cheese tortelini pasta w/ tomato sauce, cooked broccoli

Snacks:
1) apple
2) cheese stick
3) orange

Breakfast:
cup of cooked oatmeal w/ raisins, hard boiled egg

Lunch:
2 slices of multi grain bread w/ smoked turkey deli and celery sticks w/ tbsp peanut butter

Dinner:
medium slice of baked fish, some brown rice, cooked carrots

Snacks:
1) fat free yogurt
2) handful of dried apricots
3) banana

Breakfast:
plain yogurt, berries and two granola bars

Lunch:
whole wheat pita w/ egg white salad, lettuce, tomato, cherry tomatoes w/ hummus dip

Dinner:
two slices of pizza (take off the cheese) and add turkey chunks on top (lower in fat), salad, light dressing

Snacks:
1) handful of peanut nuts
2) grapes
3) banana and cheese stick

I Have a Weight Loss Dilemma?

This week’s question is a good one. Let’s have a look:

Question: okay ive been going to the gym like 3 weeks straight and doing light weight lifting and 45 mins straight of cardio well my problem is that i am not losing the weight i am staying at the same weight for about a week. should i stop the weight lifting and just do pull ups dips and push ups? i am on a diet and sticking to it good so idk just really confused. i am 178 i need to get down to 155 but i dont know what i am doing wrong? plus i go to the gym six days a week and run everyday
Answer: I think you’re starting to gain muscle, and lose the fat. Your weight may not change, but your figure definitely will. You sound really dedicated, and you’re doing a lot. Stick to it for one more month, and see if your body has changed in shape; you may not see it but ask others =)
