I Feel Like if I Eat Something, Weight Loss Will Go Nowhere?

What’s this week’s weight loss question? Let’s dive straight in…

Question: I don’t even know how to explain it without sounding crazy or like I have an eating disorder. Don’t get me wrong, I love eating food, and I’m chubby but I need to change, I need to change now and I need to get slim as fast as I can. I’ve been watching my diet like a hawk, all I consume pretty much is fruit and oatmeal. I can GUARANTEE that what I eat does not exceed 1000-1500 calories, but after I’m done eating it feels like I’m fat and weight loss will not work. It’s been like that for a few weeks. I went from 255 pounds to 236, and I see no damn different anywhere in my body. Every time I put something in my mouth I feel like its just going to completely halt my weight loss. I exercise, I diet, I do cardio. It all feels like it amounts to nothing, I feel like to changes, I still have that pudgy stomach and I feel like crap. I basically feel like not eating at all. Anyone have words of motivation or advice?

It’s like….. if I don’t eat hardly at all, my belly feels skinnier and I feel like if I keep not eating it’ll stay like that and keep getting skinnier, I know about the starvation mode talk so I don’t need to hear that. Then if I put something in my mouth, it feels like my belly expands a lot again and I’m as fat as can be.

Answer: Did you possibly take some kind of "before" picture before you started your diet so you have something to compare how you look now to? You probably just don’t notice the difference in how you look because it happened gradually and there wasn’t like one day where you just woke up 10 pounds lighter.

Think about it, you’ve lost 19 pounds, that’s so much, you should be so proud of yourself. If anything, you deserve a treat like a cake or something, you don’t have to worry about this diet not working, because it obviously is.

I understand how you feel though, trust me. Just remember that with the amount you’re eating you’ve already lost so much weight, you don’t need to be eating any less. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful, but good luck.

Is My Work out Good for Weight Loss?

A tough weight loss question this week. Let’s dive straight in

Question: I usually spend 30 minutes on the eliptical and then I spend 15 minutes doing strength training (targeting abs one day, then arms the next, then legs) and then about 5 minutes of stretching. I workout 5 days per week.

I am also eating really healthy: whole grain cereal/oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, salad for lunch, and a balanced meal for supper. I occasionally indulge, not often. What else can I do?

Answer: nothing your doing everything that you can do

Review My Diet for Weight Loss and Muscle Gain?

What’s this week’s weight loss question? Let’s dive straight in…

Question: 7am pre workout oatmeal with protein and peanut butter
10am post workout protein shake with water ,fruit
12 am half a sandwich
3pm other half
5pm meal replacement shake
7pm protein shake with milk
also i forgot i workout 6 days a week
Answer: This is way below the number of calories you need to increase your metabolism, you will only lose muscle mass on this diet not fat.

Eat 5-7 small meals a day, it’s better to get your protein from lean meats instead of solely from shakes. I would have 1 shake a day and eat more chicke, tuna, almonds, and turkey.

You want about 1g of protein per lb of lean muscle mass that you have.

I’m a beachbody fitness coach from the guys that make P90X, whatever you do don’t listen to the first post!
Also make sure the bread is whole wheat. Cut out sugar and drink plenty of water.

Don’t eat a lot of carbs and make sure the ones you do are complex carbs.

Carbs have nothing to do with growing muscle it just controls the energy that you have, but bad carbs will make you gain fat.

I was on a low carb diet for 6 months and gained more muscle and lost more fat than I ever have.

What Do You Think is the Best Method for Weight Loss?

What’s this week’s weight loss question? Let’s dive straight in…

Question: I have my own theory, but I want to see what else is floating around.
My theory is that most women in the u.s. are starving themselves on bad calories, so their bodies force them to eat. I think the best method is for breakfast slow cooked oatmeal (Make it ahead of time) with nuts for breakfast, then a small lunch with veggies and stuff and then a dinner at like five thirty healthy of course. You don't need to starve urself and u don't have to give up carbs or anything.
Answer: First off, remember to check out my diet plan here: Tracys Weight Loss Now, on to your question…Plenty of exercise, serene mind and good and healthy food. You can take some Hoodia Gordonii to help you with food cravings. Add fresh air and water, leafy green vegetables, lots of fish and stay off carbs for a while. They also say you should make love a lot, so if you have the primary source, use it (LOL)
