I'm Gonna Go Through This Teen Weight Loss Thing, HELP ME?!?!?!?

What a great weight loss question:

Question: I’m a guy that going into 8th grade next year and i have a plan to get a 7 month makeover. I’m obese, and i don’t exactly have a good looking face, but my problems on my face i can take care of, and i have a plan about the obesity, i will also get a better style. I’m planning to be finished with the makeover during winter break. Do you think i’ll get peoples attentions? How do you think the people in my school will react? I really wanna know! Also don’t write down answers like dont change yourself for someone else please :] I know that i will meet people because of my new look but then they will get to know me and my cute personality (not conceited). I know ill look really hot.

negative things are accepted if you really have to say it :] but keep it to a minimum.

Im gonna fix my teeth ,acne, shave, better style, and smell better, better hair etc. :)

Ok so im 14 years old, 236 lbs, 5′8, Obese. Im gonna start a 210 day weight loss plan that includes, classic p90x, 15 min weights, 10 in cardio, P.E(freakin difficult ugh), and walking a lot, not to mention having a good diet. I will also do lots of weight trainin!

another question: Estimate how long it will take to get to a body look this (Dont get too aroused): http://rebiya.com/gallery/taylor-lautner-shirt-off-wallpaper.jpg

Is it even remotely possible for an eight grade to have a body like that?

and another question: Do girls like it when a guy in middle school has a ripped body and muscle and isnt scrawny?like a body like taylor lautner instead of a medium scrawny guy?

BTW: I KNOW I WONT LOOK LIKE TAYLOR LAUTNER I JUST WANT TO HAVE A BODY LIKE HIS AND I WILL WORK HARD FOR IT PLUS HE WAS ONLY 16 WHEN HE GOT THAT BODY SO THATS LIKE A 2 YEAR DIFFERENCE AND I KNOW GUYS WHO ARE 14 AND HAVE A BODY LIKE HIS!

Oh um Wish me luck!!! and i’m not trying to say I’m gonna be hot and stuff i’m actually very congeal and the opposite of shallow i care for people and myself thats why i’m doing this: to boost my confidence so i can gain friendship :)

Answer: I’m really amazed about the fact that your going to be an 8th grader and you want to loose weight. I think that’s really amazing! I’m glad that you care =) I actually have a cousin in the same grade she’s over weight and it seems that she doesn’t care It be fantastic if she had different thinking like yours. But anyways…Of course your going to get peoples attention they’ll be really surprised with the big change!! they will all talk about you and notice you:D
I actually know of some products that can help you with your acne. You can use Aveeno (Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser) you can find it at Walmart etc. also you can use Atralin gel for the night I think its really good I’ve used it before, & if your face is oily and dry a little bit of both the Neutrogena (Oil-free moisture) would really help you. (Its a white bottle, and you can find it at Walmart also) Its a good thing that your going to smell better..people won’t get away from you lol
Im guessing it would take you a pretty long time to get to a Taylor Lautner body but you can do it! 1st i would try to focus more on loosing weight…then go for the taylor lautner body. It is possible for an 8th grader to have a body like that, but its a little bit gross girls don’t actually start paying attention to that sort of stuff until High School.
Girls in Junior High don’t know what they really want in a guy at that age, trust me..lol

Well i hope i answered all your questions and helped you on something!!=D
GOOD LUCK!! Don’t give up i know you’ll reach your goal ;)
I’d be more than glad to be kept up dated on your progress. =]

Can Daily Exposure to Bright Light Help Weight Loss - is There Any Evidence or Theory That It Might Work?

A weight loss question that should definitely interest you all this week

Question: Obesity seems more common in higher latitudes where sunlight is relatively weak. Also I have noticed that I lose weight during summer holidays. I'd like to know if exercising outdoors in bright light might do me more good (in terms of weight control) than exercising indoors in relatively dim light. Is there some kind of hormone effect connecting light and appetite levels, or some other plausible mechanism?
Answer: First off, remember to check out my diet plan here: Tracys Weight Loss Now, on to your question…You are actually asking two questions.
1.) Q: Can sun exposure help with weight loss? A: YES - this is due to the affects of vitamin D production and ultimatley hormone regulation.

2.) Q: Why are people in higher latitudes heavier? A:Besides the fact that they spend less time outside because of the cold winters, the issue also stems from evolution. People who's ancestors come from colder climates tend to have more trunk weight. This was so that they could protect the vital organs by insulating them with fat during cold months. People in warmer climates tend to have their weight more in the extremities. Phillipines and the islands. This is to keep the fat insulation away from the body organs so they don't overheat.

Great question!
