What’s this week’s question? Let’s dive straight in…
Question: Why is this happening to me?
I’ am a 13 year old girl
I am 5′1
I’m 89 or 90 pounds
I’m like getting pale? but my parents are indian
I hardly feel like eating, i’m always feeling full
sometimes i get thirsty after drinking anything with caffine (its summer here)
I dont really get headaches but i get dizzy
well, I m eating alot of junk food and i’m constantly losing weight!
PLZZZ help!
xD
thnx
Answer: hey im not sure this will be of much help but i have had this problem - as of right now actually lol! What is helping me though is having 3 meals a day, actual meals like a sandwich, fruit, drink ect. My body is now becoming hungry at those certain times instead of feeling so hungry that i feel full lol (im pretty sure that is why that feeling is happening) As for the caffine, caffine dehydrates you if you drink to much of it, its hard to do but when the weather is as hot as it is your body is dehydrated anyway so i would stick with water even juices. Btw i was eating junk food all the time too and eating all the sugar can make your body almost repel it- it wants healthy food! Try eating meals at the same time as well as adding water, especially when your outside in this horrible weather. hope i helped!
Keep the weight loss questions coming! I liked this one:
Question: Okay I’m a13 year old girl…I know I’m over weight, I’d really like help on how to loose at least 20lbs before the summers over…I cant always eat right ( mostly because I don’t know what to watch out for in foods), so I’m looking for more exercises, that help you loose weight even when you cant eat right all the time, I’ve been reading and reading on this subject, I’ve learned a few things ( but not sure if they are true) like having cold water on you ( like in your shower) for atleast 15 seconds can help tighten you belly skin, drinking cold water helps with that too, ive heard crunches dont really do any good for you, I’ve herad sucking in for atleast 15 seconds with help tone your muscles, and I’ve also heard spinning helps ( i dont know how though), am I getting the right advice? Can you help me from your own experince? Any advice that’s sure to get me results fast would be very much appreciated
…I’m really tired of being made fun of for not being "skinny" or what ever, and it makes me feel bad so any help would be appreciated so very much
thank you so so so much!
@ Len what’s that?
Answer: Hard work and Dedication!
1. Start running regularly. Do a 10 minute jog every day and slowly move up in time and distance.
2. Crunches do work for you. Do them every night before you go to sleep. Again make sure you do it regularly.
3. Drink a lot of water. Avoid soda!!!
4. Avoid junk food!! (Fast food, chocolate)
5.Reduce your sugar intake.( drink your tea without sugar. Use honey instead)
6. Eat smaller portions.
7. Most important exercise.
Losing weight is hard and takes patience and dedication. Start excessing to your ability. Watch what you eat and you will do great. Also don’t pay attention to bullies, makes excessing much more fun and more rewarding
What a great weight loss question:
Question: I’m an 18 year old girl I’m 5′9 and I weigh 270 lbs. I’ve been homeschool for all 4 years of high school. I don’t go out like at all and I have no friends and basically no life. I’ve been trying 2 lose weight for 6 years now and this is the heaviest I’ve evr been. There was an insident last summer where I was staying at a hotel, me and my sister were walking around downstairs around the lobby and casino part, then we were in the alley at the back of the hotel and this guy comes up and basically just looks straight at me and say "I’m the fattesst girl he’s evr seen". Evr since then I’ve been so depressed that nite I held it in until I got back to my room and just started crying like crazy cuz its nvr happened 2 me b4. I started gaining weight when I started home schooling. So I was just wondering if anyone could give me any tips on how to lose weight or success stories or anyone that has lost weight and kept it off. Thnx for anyone who answers.
Answer: Don’t be discouraged! Losing weight is not an easy thing, and the best thing to start with is to find a friend or family member to keep you accountable when you set small goals for yourself.
Everyday, try drinking more water, walking or having 1 hour of physical activity. as for eating healthy, stay away from fried foods, cream sauces, and lots of sugary drinks. It’s also possible to eat healthy when eating out, you might find some ideas here: http://lollihop.com/
This week’s question is a good one. Let’s have a look:
Question: I’m 16 year old girl. I have struggled with my weight for sometime now. I’m looking to make some healthy changes. What are some things that have worked for you? Haven’t worked for you? Thanks!
Answer: Eating every few hours and making sure I have lean protein at every meal and only complex carbs and not too much Of them. No fruit but lots of vegetables. No refined carbs at all. No soda including diet. Snacking on protein and not carbs. This worked for me better than anything else. Cutting out sugar Of all kinds really helpd with weight loss. Calorie counting alone didnt work because i could still eat sugar on a calorie controlled diet and that is what causes my weight gain. Interval training really speeds up metabolism too so try running/jogging combos or walking/running if you are new to running. Good luck.
Another weight loss question has come in this week. Let’s tackle it straight away:
Question: I want to lose weight im eating healthy and want to lose ten pounds are there any good work out routines for at home and what foods should i avoid??
Answer: Good workout ‘routines’:
- Squats.
- Lunges.
- Sit-ups.
- Push ups.
- Crunches.
- Planks.
- Leg lifts.
- Arm circles.
- Do at least an hour of cardio a day. So jogging, running, or even brisk walking.
- Skip rope, ride a bike, swim.
Things to avoid;
- Soda.
- Chips/Sugary or fried snacks.
- Sweetened fruit juice.
- Full fat dairy items.
- Foods with high sodium, high sugar, high saturated or transfat.
Other tips:
- Drink a lot of water, at minimum 6 cups.
- Walk instead of taking the car/bus.
- Do leg lifts during commercial breaks.
- Go on a hike with friends.
- Make it fun, take it slow, do it the right way. Avoid crash diets, pills, or any other gimics. You’ll just gain the weight back in the long run.

Answer: just exercise…you will lose fat in your whole body..you cant in just one spot…but focus on legs..do squats and leg extensions…lower carbs and increase protein and fat..YES i said eat fats and protein and keep your carbs to a minimum…5g a day should be the amount of carbs if not less if you want results faster

Well here’s a question I just had to answering straight away:
Question: i am a 13 year old girl. i am 5′6, and i weigh about 185. my stomach has no rolls what soever, its just round. it almost looks like a pregnant belly, even when i sit i dont get rolls. i have nice legs and arms, i play volleyball and horseback ride. all i need to get rid of is this disgusting stomach!!! please help
Answer: jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.
What’s this week’s weight loss question? Let’s dive straight in…
Question: I weighed myself before I started to work out and weighed 170. I am a 16 yr old girl and am 5′4.5 . I don’t want to weigh myself until about a month because I don’t want to get discouraged. So far I’ve been working out 20ish minutes everyday by jogging and walking, eating healthy, and drinking lots of water. How much weight would I lose if I ddo this for 6 weeks? I plan to work out like this for the first two weeks and then bump it up to 30 minutes the 3rd and 4th week and then to 40 minutes for the last two weeks.
Answer: You should be dropping between 2-4 pounds a week! Good for you!
Also, you should weigh 100 lbs for the first five feet tall and a minimum of 5 lbs. for each inch over. So, a healthy weight for you will be 125 to 140 pounds. So, you’ll be right on target in six weeks.
When you’ve finished losing the weight you want to lose, say GOODBYE to junk food and soda’s for life! They offer you nothing in nutritional value and make us bulge where we want to be toned! The junk food industry targets teens looking for customers for life. Don’t fall prey to their antics!
A daily diet of fruits, veggies, whole grains and lean meats with at least two glasses of milk, and 8-10 glasses of water daily will ensure that you never, ever have to diet again… with a minimum of 1/2 hours of exercise 3-5 days a week!
Also, trust what you see in your mirror and in your clothes… don’t rely on the scales to make you feel good about yourself! (^_^)
What’s this week’s question? Let’s dive straight in…
Question: Im 15, and 150 pounds, I am 5′7, is that a reasonable height for someone like me?
If not, how can I loose weight to be more healthier?
