Loose Skin After Weight Loss.?

Another weight loss question has come in this week. Let’s tackle it straight away:

Question: I don’t know how to explain my problem so you guys can really understand how I feel. I feel really doomed. I apologize for any spelling mistakes because I am not originally from the US.

I came to the United States when I was 21 and I was a little over weight. I started exercising and going to the gym. I had already started doing it in my country because I had been much heavier before and I had completely changed myself and the way I look. I was really scared that in this country I will gain it back because my first job was in a fast food restaurant. As I said I was a little overweight when I came to US but that was not the biggest problem… the problem was… all that extra skin after the weight loss back in my country – my stomach, my thighs.

I was really hoping the extra skin would go away with a lot of exercises but it didn’t happen. When dressed I look like a completely normal guy and I would say that I am good looking and attractive. My stomach is loose with stretch marks and that is so gross. I never go to the pool or the beach. I never undress myself in front of people. The worst part is when I like somebody and I know that I am not gonna have her or him or I know that somebody else likes me. I don’t like when somebody touches me because they may find out that my belly is not that tight. It’s been 5 years now. At one point during that time I was really in love with a couple of guys and one girl but because I couldn’t bring myself to normal I didn’t do nothing to be with them and I felt so depressed that I gained weight back and lost it again.
I am 26 now and I look normal except the loose skin. I’ve recently started exercising a lot again and I have been doing some research on some expensive tightening creams online but how many bottles would I need to use get rid of all the skin?… or Surgery but that’s probably gonna cost thousands of dollars to fix the parts of my body I want and I can’t afford it at the moment.
I am a handsome guy and everybody says how cute I am but they don’t know that I am the unhappiest person in the world. I feel like my youth is flying away. But the worst feeling of everything is… I am still virgin.

Weight Loss and Muscle Gain!?

I just love answering these weight loss questions. Here’s another:

Question: does anyone know of an EFFECTIVE workout to lose weight from my stomach and one for thighs.

and an EFFECETIVE workout to gain muscle in my arms?

Answer: This article is inspired by a lot of the questions people have e-mailed to me since I’ve had this site up. I must have answered this question 100’s of times by now. The questions are usually something like "How can I gain muscle and lose fat at the same time?" or "I want to lose fat but gain muscle at the same time, how can I do it?" If you went into a gym and took a poll of what everyone’s goal was, I can bet that most, if not all, would say to gain muscle and lose fat. I doubt there is anyone who just wants to lose fat, they want to gain muscle while they are at it, and visa-versa! So, is it? Is it possible to both lose fat and gain muscle at the same time? No, it is NOT possible, and I will not only tell you why its not possible, but I’ll also tell you how you can do both, just not at the same time.

To lose fat, what do you have to do? You have to do lots of cardio, eat a low carb/low fat/lower calorie diet, and of course, lift weights. To gain muscle, what do you have to do? Do little or no cardio, eat a high calorie/higher carb/higher fat diet, and again, lift weights. Did you notice something there? Yup, they are complete opposites. Trying to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time would be like trying to sit and stand at the same time. It just can’t be done. This is why most people who are trying to do both at the same time see no results and give up. So, then how can it be done? How can you lose fat and gain muscle if you can’t do both at the same time? Simple, you don’t do them at the same time. You do them in phases.

Help?!?! Weight Loss to Look Good in a Bikini…?

This week’s question is as follows:

Question: Okay so I’m 14, 5′7, and around 180 lbs. I really want to lose weight around my thighs and belly so I can swim at the lake in my bikini. Can someone please help? I know I will have to exercise and eat healthy. But I don’t know what exercises to do or how much I should be eating. I really want to do this to help my self-esteem and to gain confidence. Does anyone know any good exercises that I can do to get in shape? And what should I be eating and what should I stay away from? Please and thank you(:
Okay, do things like slim fast work?
Answer: Exercise is not nearly as important as eating right, so i would suggest a low-calorie diet. So if you eat around 2500 calories a day normally, you should try for 1500 calories a day. You can basically eat as many fruits and vegetables as you want because most of them are at least 90% water. (Not to mention they work miracles for you).

Stay away from MEAT, any salty, greasy things like chips and french fries, anything artificial (if you CAN stay away from it..) dairy (especially products made from cow’s milk) however it’s alright in small amounts.

For exercise I would just try going on really long walks. I’ve been walking 2.5 hours average per day and it feels awesome. Running isn’t my thing so I’m not going to tell you to do that…
Good luck sweetie :)

Two Questions About My Body ( Weight Loss )?

What’s this week’s question? Let’s dive straight in…

Question: Two questions about my body ( weight loss )?
im 5′3 150
i need to lose weight ASAP !
will drinking only water ,eat fruits,&excersise helo me lose weight ?
i also hate when i ware skirts, dresses,&shorts i get like little red dots like pimples on my thighs
they itch , help me please kthnxs
Answer: All you have to do to lose weight is burn more calories than you consume. So eat less, exercise more, and drink water. But don’t restrict yourself to just fruit; that’s not healthy. You need a balanced diet (like they have on the food pyramid). You need the protein from meats and beans to help your muscles.

What you might want to do is keep track of how many calories you eat a day; you should aim for 1500-2000. Then calculate how many calories you’re burning with exercise. Make sure you’re getting around 1500 calories anyway, not including exercise (so if you burn 400 calories in exercise, make sure you eat 1900 calories).

I GUARANTEE you will lose weight if you eat sensibly and exercise more. But don’t do something stupid and starve yourself; you will actually not lose anything.

As far as the red bumps are concerned, make sure you’re using lotion. If you sweat a lot, that could be what’s causing the bumps.
