Weight Loss Help Please!?

This week’s question is a good one. Let’s have a look:

Question: I would like to lose 4 to 6lbs a week, Its so cold where I live and I work alot are there any good weight loss tips that can be helpful to me. I am 5`6 and 200lbs I would like to be 160lbs. Plus I am wanting to start following a meatless diet. ( personal reasons) Thank you for any help and tips you can give me.
Answer: I lost 50lbs in 4 months on the Atkins diet. (My own modified version) My meals looked something like this:

Breakfast:
Atkins shake
Egg whites
one low-carb piece of toast
Butter

Lunch:
Celery
Cucumbers
Sugar-free Jello
Cheese snack (String cheese or cut-up munster cheese yum!)

Dinner:
Skinless chicken breast(If you want to go meatless, you can find some good alternatives like Tofu!)
mashed-Cauliflower with butter
Fried green-beans in soy sauce

And EVERY day when I woke up, I did 100 crunches and some mild stretching.

Question: whats the best most quickest way of losing weight!!!!
Answer: -Never/rarely eat out at fast food restaurants
-eat less breads and cheeses.
-eat more vegetables
-don’t drink pop at all
-eat fruits or fruit juice for dessert.
-Do some type of exercise daily (for at least 30mins)
-drink water often
-get good sleep

I Need Help on Weight Loss Tips?

Another weight loss question has come in this week. Let’s tackle it straight away:

Question: I’m working out over the summer and I need other unique tips besides exercising and eating healthy.I’m waiting for summer because that way I can walk to the gym without freezing my butt off.My parents aren’t going to drive me to the gym every week day like I plan on going.I’m a few weeks from turning 15 if that helps and I’m 4′11 at 128 pounds.Please and thank you!
Answer: your bmi is 25.5, it should be 18.5-24.5 so you need to be 120 max, so try some swimming laps, dancing with frequent jumps in it, push ups, crunches, also eat no bread or fruit, eat 3 protein snacks a day, and eat 3 small meals a day with 100g protein and unlimited salad or fruit, also, with sancks eat 50g protein, and this will help kick start your metabolism!

I Need Weight Loss Tips for a 13 Year Old Girl!?

Well here’s a question I just had to answering straight away:

Question: i am a 13 year old girl. i am 5′6, and i weigh about 185. my stomach has no rolls what soever, its just round. it almost looks like a pregnant belly, even when i sit i dont get rolls. i have nice legs and arms, i play volleyball and horseback ride. all i need to get rid of is this disgusting stomach!!! please help :)
Answer: jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

We’ve had a reader question come in on the subject of weight loss. Let’s take a look:

Question: Im so depressed … I feel so fat im 13 and 8 stone and everyone else in my year has totally flat stomach’s :( …Does anyone no how i can lose weight fast !!….When i was younger i had an eating disorder and i don’t want to go down that road …Help !!
Answer: I know all about being depressed. I’ve been manically depressed since primary school.

Are you willing to do some exercises? I have a 15-minute workout available on my website www.freeexercisesforall.com . It’s a free downloadable PDF. And it’s a full body workout. Easy 10pts on Good Weight Loss Tips?

What’s this week’s question? Let’s dive straight in…

Question: I’m 19years old and I weight around 165lbs, I don’t look my weight but i’m deff unhappy with the number. I need a good cardio/walking plan and eating plan to help lose weight. I can’t lift weights for reasons and am unable to attend my gym currently for personal reasons as well, I just wanna know how long I should walk a day. What kinda fruits should I eat and how much in a day.I know about drinking 8 glasses of water a day but I heard the more you drink the less water your body will retain so how many glasses of water should I drink? I just really wanna get back down to my 120lbs weight that I was when I was 17.

Any advice I would appreciate thank you.

Answer: I know how you feel.. It does suck to know that you weighed a lot less at one point in time… But i found a way for myself to lose weight… I do 50 crunches right before bed, and right when i wake up in the morning as well.. Drink 4-6 cups of water a day.. and in the morning eat Kellogg’s "Special K" cereal. It is fantastic!… As far as lunch, eat something very simple such as a salad (do NOT use low-fat dressing’s!!)… and last but not least, when it comes to dinner, just enjoy whatever you like… However, try having smaller quantities of your choice..Hope this helps!! I lost nearly 20 lbs in 2 weeks!

Question: Hello
I’m looking for some weight loss tips. My goal is 10 pounds (for now)
I’m in my 30’s and weigh 160. Any suggestions and things to do?

Answer: I started power walking/jogging in Jan on the treadmill and have graduated to outdoors at the beach. I absolutely love it. I have only lost 12 pounds but it is staying off and I have found something I like.
Remember, what works for one may not work for another. You have to try different things and see what you like and what works. I am actually running my first 5K this Sat; something I never would have thought of doing even a few short weeks ago.
