Well here’s a question I just had to answering straight away:
Question: I would like any views on a diet which is based on common sense, is not too difficult to maintain and which really works in the long term.
Answer: First off, remember to check out my diet plan here: Tracys Weight Loss Now, on to your question…i know the web site program you are referring to , due to i purchased it for my research project for a dietitian course……anyway………it sounds easy enough, waste of money, and missing soooooo very much in nutrition………someone is making a ton of $$$ on this one, but will be short lived as the consumer becomes educated…….or one could only hope!
If it does, that makes you an idiot.

Yes, but one of the requirements is that you are an idiot. If anyone with an IQ of more than 90 goes on this diet, it's likely to kill them. You should be fine.

And do people "really" go for it?
The name itself doesn't sound too encouraging!

so would everyone else in the world - but something so simple does not exist.
When you decide to eat certain foods, that is when you should put your common sense to work. Watch the size of your portions, drinks lots of water, avoid soda, don't go to the fast food places, avoid snack foods and junk foods, and be patient - because the weight drops off very slowly.
If you want to set up a goal for yourself - say - you want to lose 5 pounds, you work at that goal, and once you achieve it, then you reward yourself…and try to lose a small amount of weight at one time. If you try to lose 20 or 25 pounds at once, your expectations may be too high and you may become discouraged - just stick with it - the end results will be worth it.
Good Luck!

1.Cut out pop, most juices and whole milk.(drink skim).
2.When possible, walk at a brisk pace instead of driving.
3. Cut out salt (use lemon juice instead) and don't eat chips or fried foods.
4. Make sure you walk as briskly as you can for at least an hour everyday.
You WILL lose weight this way.

Because you want it to work in the long-term, call it "healthy eating" rather than a diet. You are right- diets do not work. But if you eat balanced foods, it will show results in the long term.
Try to have 3 main meals in a day and 3 small ones. For breakfast- I have Kellogg's' Fruit'n'Fibre cereal (it keeps me full until 12 which is great). For lunch and/or dinner you can have chicken breasts or lean fish, some macaroni with green salad (in principal, salads should always be included). Rice and potatoes are OK, although they are high in carbs, if you eat an average proportion, they would not harm you. Diets usually try to neglect carbohydrates, but you needn't do that- because diets never work, they make you feel unhappy by the end of the day and they don't supply your body with the needed amount of vitamins.
OK, and the small meals would include a fruit or vegetable, or a muesli bar. If you feel hungry in between the meals, always try to eat a fruit or personally I eat a cucumber. Also don't forget to include then and now some nuts and olives in your menu.
Try to exercise at least 30 min each day.
Good Luck

The best way to lose weight is diet and exorcise. There is no quick fix or easy diet. To successfully lose weight, you must put some work into it. Unless, of course you can afford plastic surgery (liposuction). The key to my weight loss success (I lost 20 lbs in 8 weeks, and I still want to lose 15 more lbs.) was weight watchers. It was the only thing that worked, but I had to be willing and honest when it came to making that decision. I also needed some motivation. Weight watchers really works and it's not hard or expensive. Also, you don't have to give up everything you love to eat. Look into it.
