I feel you man! I was actually obese at 245 in around February and now I'm down to 207 and only overweight and I'm trying to get down to 180.

Anyway here's what I did:
So I started with running 1 mile every day in February and slowly brought that number up. Here's what I would do, I would run a mile and then walk a cool down lap on the track and run one more mile. And every 3 weeks or a month try and add 1 more lap or .25 more miles to your running. I'm up to 2.25 right now.
Also after you run do 90 squats (the most amazing fat burning workout). Do 3 sets of 30. If you cant do that many just build up to it.

Dinner time, always give yourself 2 hours before you sleep. So this means if you go to sleep at 10, eat before 8. The more time you have to digest the better. Also right before you go to bed have a fun size candy. Or like a fourth of a bar of candy, or anything small like half a cup of cereal because you gotta keep your metabolism going throughout the night. Also, cut you're dinner portion by about half because that's all we kinda need.
ALWAYS EAT BREAKFAST!!!!!! And keep drinking the water it's good it flushes your body out makes it nice.

This is what I'm doing and its working wonders! I'm down from 245 to almost 205 so 40 pounds! And my wait is down from 42 to 36.

Put yourself on a diabetic diet, you will begin to see changes in energy levels almost immediately. Pay very close attention to the glycemic index ratings for foods, this makes a difference in how your hormones respond to blood sugar levels. High fluctuations will cause cravings, if you are able to maintain your blood sugar levels moderately without huge spikes your body will be functioning optimally. Vegetables should the largest part of your diet (not starchy potatoes, instead you want asparagus, carrots, peas... etc) beans can be a great source of protein.
Another thing that is very important, by ensuring that you are getting all the nutrients your body needs, you will be less likely to have cravings. Here's the website I use to keep track of my nutrition, it will take a little time, but it takes effort to be healthy. Another thing to remember it's not about how much you weigh, it's about your health :D
