How Do I Hide My Weight Loss from My Parents?

We’ve had a reader question come in on the subject of weight loss. Let’s take a look:

Question: I’m trying to lose a lot of weight, but last time I lost weight they told me I was way too skinny and I wanted to exercise to lose more, but they would lecture me and tell me I looked like I was way too thin and If I exercised Id be a twig..so I didn’t exercise but I gained all the weight back because of them.

I’m now 160 at 5′4 and a size 11!!! Talk about morbid obesity, UGH!
3 years ago I was only 122.

My goal is to get to 115 and a size xsmall, but was wondering.. how can I do that without my parents noticing? What are some tricks to make myself look heavier when I get down to like 145..I want to like look like I’m 145 while i am in my house so they dont say anything and I can still exercise. Let me know thanks.

  4. Don’t go near the weight scale ;) Also, no skintight, or else your parents will Know for sure. Go outside and try to avoid your parents, especially when they start talking about health, growth, ect.

  5. Based on your height and weight you are definitely not morbidly obese!
Don’t starve yourself because this can lead to eating disorders.
