Is Protein Good for Breakfast? To Help with Weight Loss?

I just love answering these weight loss questions. Here’s another:

Question: I’ve been hearing that eating hard boiled egg (whites) and other proteins is good for breakfast if you want to lose weight?
Today i had 60g of tuna and 2 hard boiled egg whites.

Answer: Protein is amazing to have for breakfast because it gives you an energy boost and promotes a healthy lifestyle. I am not however so sure about the weight loss factor. In my opinion and my mother being a physician while I am studying to be a geriatrician I recommend asking your local nutritionist or dietitian.

  3. Mix protein with some fast digesting carbs. I usually just use oats with a little splenda.

  4. listen you don’t get a great body in the kitchen you get it in the gym. Just watch your calories do effective cardio like running outside and lift heavy free weights. That’s all you gotta do. The more you exercise the more calories you will burn the more weight you will lose. Thats all i do and i have a great body not trying to sound cocky lol. You dont even need that much protein. Protein doesnt get you big working out gets you big.
