WEIGHT LOSS HELP. PLEASE. 10 POINTS TO BEST ANSWER!!!?

What a great weight loss question:

Question: so im leaving for myrtle beach in 2 weeks and i would like to loose close to 20 pounds. can any one give me tips on what i would have to do for this to happen. i don’t want to go out and buy anything also keep in mind im only 15. thanks.
okay i get it 20 in 2 is to much but i said close to 20 like 10-15 ish.
Answer: Here are some tips that will help you reach your goal!
1. stock up on fruits and vegetables– those have very few calories and DO taste good!
2. Drink water instead of soda or juice.
3. Try to eat whole wheat and potatoes. Those will keep your hunger at bay and not make you crave foods. Oh! But if you DO find yourself craving foods, have a small portion of it, don’t try to avoid it completely, because the craving will only get stronger.
4. make sure to pay attention to portion sizes too. it helps if you portion it out into a bowl that way you don’t find your self eating too much at once. or even portion out your snacks a week in advance so you don’t over eat.
5. you should record what you eat in a journal. calculate the total number of calories you eat per day and determine if there is any junk you can cut out.
6. to lose weight you might want to eat around 1500-2000 calories per day. DO NOT EAT LESS THAN 1000 CALORIES PER DAY!!!!!! Eating less than 1000 calories can actually cause your body to gain weight.
7. Eating healthy low calorie meals with LOTS of exercise will help you lose weight! aerobic exercise such as running, swimming, biking, or gymnastics is a great way to loose weight as well!
8. Get motivated! If ever you find your self not wanting to get up and go exercise, tell your self to get up and do it. Motivate yourself by thinking about how good you will look/feel if you just get up and do it!
9. another motivational tip, once a week, take a day off and reward your self with something special like your favorite restaurant or something sweet like dessert!
10. Don’t be afraid to drink tea, unsweetened tea has 0 calories and is full of antioxidants that will actually help you lose weight. There are also sweeteners such as Truvia that contain 0 calories and are good to add to tea if you like it sweet! :D

REMEMBER: to lose weight you need to have a good diet AND exercise program having only one will not do you as much good as having both! :D

this is a very easy plan to follow! as long as you stick to it! and don’t give up! :D

  2. Eat healthier.
    More fruits, veggies, salads, lean meats, etc. They taste really good just find the stuff you like :)
    BUT, a diet will not work unless you also exercise. I recommend running on a treadmill each day (or if you do not have a treadmill, just go for a jog). Run about 30 minutes each day, until it stops hurting. When the exercise stops hurting, increase the amount of time you run, and repeat the process over and over again.
    Also, try doing 10 sit-ups and 10 push-ups each morning and/or night. As with the running, increase the amount when it stops hurting.

    If you keep this up, you will be surprised by the results!

    AFTER you get to your goal, DO NOT go back to your old habits, continue with the ones above :D

  3. umm maybe not 20 pounds but def atleast 5 pounds the easiest ways to lose weight are

    - drink Alot of water
    - celery
    -spicy food
    -go on a jog with ur friends
    -make sure each meal u are eating is really light
    - if this coninues u will easily be losing weight

  4. No, you can’t lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks (unless you are severely obese it’s just too much).

    Even if you resorted to severe methods and compromised your health it would be too much and might make you sick & ruin your trip.

    Just exercise & eat a health, balanced diet, drink plenty of water, get a good night’s sleep and stay away from junk. You can lose a few pounds in two weeks and you’ll feel much better, but it will probably be no where near 20 pounds.

    You can’t just shock your body like that. IT takes time to take weight off just like it took time to put it on.

  5. I don’t think 20 pounds in 2 weeks is realistic. But you could probably lose 5-8 pounds. Cut out all junk food and sweets and starchy foods. Eat more veggies and lean fish or chicken. Also cut out fried foods. You will be amazed how much your body will go down just by getting the sugar and starchy carbs out of your system. And drink a lot of water , and get some exercise, and plenty of sleep. If you do this you will feel great too and have more energy. If you can do some squats , lunges they really help to tone the stomach and hip area, but they can make you really sore, always stretch after doing these. Good Luck to you hope you have a great vacation :) PS I just remembered when I was your age and was trying to lose weight I would try to go all day with out eating. Bad Idea, it will slow your metablism down and you will end up over eating. Start you day with a good healthy breakfast. Don’t think your not supposed to eat if you want to lose weight. The key to losing is what you are eating. and how much you are moving. :D

  6. Some people actually do lose 20 lbs on the Atkins in the first two weeks - but these are usually people who are quite fat. if you’re not too fat, you might not do that well.

    But you can give it a try - "New Diet Revolution" - it’s in the library - follow it to the letter for two weeks. It might make a life-time believer out of you. It’s a great weight loss resource to have.

  7. 20 pounds in 2 weeks is too much! A safe weight loss in no more than 3 pounds a week.
