We’ve had a reader question come in on the subject of weight loss. Let’s take a look:
Let’s see….at the beginning of this school year i weighed a whopping 131 lol, but now i’ve dropped to my weight goal of 110…as of last month
the last pounds are the hardest but just be sure to give yourself breaks, not like the eating whatever you want breaks but the kind that you just fill your stomach with healthy foods and don’t exercise…that certainly helped for me…take a lazy break like i did one week out of the month and it’ll be much easier…i didnt work out much, just danced 30 minutes in my downstairs living room 3X a week. Also, you’ve got to tell yourself you need to loose those 6 pounds no matter what because you’re going to hawaii in late may….just whatever to keep yourself motivated….and just b/c you lost them doesn’t mean you can eat whatever you want now…it takes 6 months to keep your body at the weight your at now…since you’ve just lost..trust me! after i lost 10 pounds i was so happy and ate almost whatever i wanted again and gained 4 pounds in 5 days so be careful! your weight is really delicate right now..

Exercise by walking/jogging around your block about 5+ times and eat atleast 1700 calories a day =D
I didn’t do this but, it worked for my mom. She went from 180 to 145 pounds by doing this daily.

eat 1000 calories a day and you will lose 1.5 pounds per week.

i used to be a chunky 13 year old , around 150 lbs, when i look back at my pictures i feel that i am lucky that i did something about it & changed my life. the sports that i have to thank was soccer & basketball.
when i did soccer i was the slowest kid there, when we did laps around the soccer field i was always behind the group of guys & never kept up with them. sometimes i felt a need to stop b/c my breathing was so heavy my throat started to hurt.
2-4 weeks later i lost around 20-25 lbs, since i was overweight & i started to do all this cardio, my body drastically lost this weight, i played 5-6 days a week & ran a lot. i didnt make the team but i did lose my weight and was around 130 lbs.
then came basketball, there were no cuts & i played 5 days a week, again, RUNNING A LOT, after the season was over i lost around another 15 lbs.
with the amount of cardio i did i lost a lot of fat with no idea of a diet plan, if i lost that much weight when i was young i bet you can lose 6 lbs.
if you want to lose the 6 lbs badly, i suggest you do 30-60 minutes of cardio 3-4 days a week. (i did 2 hours of cardio 5-6 days a week )
-replace sugary drinks with water
-eat healthy snacks between breakfast,lunch,dinner
-do not skip breakfast, not only do you start off energy less, but you will probably eat a lot for lunch & dinner.
- replace white foods with whole grain
- get at least 8 hours of sleep
